At around 13:25 on April 22, 2021, a fire occurred in the anodes oxidation workshop of Shengrui Electronic Technology (Shanghai) Co., LTD., located at No. 113, Lane 171, Linsheng Road, Jinshan District, with an area of about 21,000 square meters of fire and smoke, resulting in 8 deaths (including 2 fire rescue personnel).
After the accident, leaders at all levels attached great importance to it and instructed them to do a good job in scientific disposal and other related work. The building of Shengrui Electronics was seriously damaged due to the fire, all the internal equipment burned down and the roof burned through many places, and the demolition and cleaning work at the fire site needs to be carried out legally and in compliance. Shanghai Changying Environmental Protection Service Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Changying"), as a hazardous waste disposal unit, immediately communicated with Shengrui Electronics, Tinglin Industrial Park, Tinglin Town government and Jinshan District Environmental Protection Bureau, and organized field investigations by business, technology, production and other departments to evaluate and analyze the feasibility and safety of demolition.
The scene before the demolition
Various departments of Shanghai Changying formed a detailed and rigorous overall demolition plan and solid waste disposal plan after making a lot of evaluation and demonstration of the safety and environmental protection of the site demolition, and successfully passed four rounds of expert review. It is determined that the company shall be responsible for the demolition work, and the equipment and incineration residue after on-site incineration shall be handed over to Shanghai Changying for disposal as solid waste.
Dismantling
The demolition work officially began on September 7, and all the demolition processes were completed on September 25, with a construction period of only 18 days. After the fire, the equipment and materials after incineration are piled up in a messy way, and the hazardous waste cleaning can only be carried out after the equipment is dismantled and shipped out, which greatly reduces the working time of hazardous waste cleaning and brings unprecedented challenges to the transportation and reception of Shanghai Changying. Time is tight, the task is urgent, and it coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival, the relevant staff of Shanghai Changying took the initiative to give up their vacation, stick to their posts, overcome difficulties, and cooperate closely with all departments to finish cleaning, packaging, shipping and receiving 668.17 tons of hazardous waste within 3 days.
After removal
Shanghai Changying worked together to demonstrate responsibility and responsibility, so that the task was successfully completed, no secondary pollution occurred in the process of collection and transportation, and no safety accidents occurred.
