In August 2019, Yu Huadong joined the warehouse department of Nanjing Technical Center of Excellence as a technician, when the company was short of forklift workers, there were few people living, and he had rich experience in forklift driving and holding a driving operation certificate. He accepted this difficult task without hesitation. Yu Huadong opened for two months, and there were no violations, no liability accidents, and successfully and effectively completed the task of material transfer and fork transportation.

He is diligent in his work, good at summing up experience, and excellent working ability and achievements, so that he was promoted to warehouse team leader in less than one year. As the team leader, he arrived at the site 15 minutes in advance every day, and after arranging the work of the team for a day, he moved around the production site and the process room, and actively connected the docking work of the operation instructions of incineration, physicalization and curing; Frequent shuttle between several warehouses, check hidden dangers, to ensure that all kinds of hazardous waste in the storage link safe and stable. "What the eyes can see, live to the fullest; what the eyes cannot see, you must think and prepare in advance." This seems to have been Yu Huadong's working motto.

The unexpected shows great character

One day at three o 'clock in the afternoon, a loud noise in the pretreatment workshop, with his own intuition and experience, Yu Huadong quickly judged that there was an abnormal situation, then put on labor protective equipment rushed to the scene! It turned out that the pit was deflagration, and he opened the nearest fire hydrant and rushed into the scene to put out the fire gun. It wasn't two minutes before other colleagues arrived and put him on a respirator, blinded and soaked by smoke. The head of the duty team also came and wanted to replace him, but Yu Huadong refused, he said: "There is still oxygen in the respirator, use it up and then go out, don't waste it!" The fire gradually became smaller, although there was no open fire, but there may be a resurgence, when Yu Huadong changed a set of work clothes, put on a new breathing apparatus to go in again, the group leader stopped him, let other colleagues take turns, he and the group leader said: "Have gone in once, not afraid of the second time."

"There was no specific reason, I just subconsciously decided to do my job while I was at work." "He said afterwards, as the group chatted about the idea of him rushing in without hesitation.

In April this year, it was another challenging month for Yu Huadong's team. The company needs to receive the emergency contaminated soil of Jianhu Lake in Yancheng, in the strict prevention and control of the epidemic situation, because Yancheng involves outside the city, transport vehicles must be reported in advance of the Beijing epidemic prevention public number - Ningchangyun, back and forth on the same day, otherwise the driver should be isolated on the spot.

"There are always more methods than difficulties," the words are prominently posted on the right side of Yu's computer screen. He led the team to reserve and empty 4 reservoir areas in advance and integrate 100 tons of barrels. In more than 20 days, in addition to handling more than 10 carloads of materials arriving at the factory every day, Yu Huidong and the team gave extra priority to dealing with 6-7 contaminated soil of Chejian Lake and worked overtime until 10 o 'clock on a regular basis to help the company successfully overcome this difficulty.

"If I can solve my difficulties, I can show my value." Yu Huadong often used this sentence to urge himself and encourage colleagues around him.
