In order to alleviate the pressure on medical waste disposal and achieve "daily clearance", Nanjing Ecological Environment Bureau started to requisition the hazardous waste incineration and disposal facilities of Nanjing Excellent Environmental Protection Technology Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Xuelang Environmental Protection, and Excellent Environmental Protection responded positively by immediately adjusting the work plan and setting up a special class for medical waste disposal to put into the battle against the epidemic at a faster speed.

Not afraid of risk, stick to responsibility

This epidemic is the "Delta" mutant strain, highly contagious, sealing, disinfection, isolation and disposal of medical waste is the top priority. After receiving the task, Nanjing Excellence first organized to learn the work requirements of medical waste collection, transportation, elimination and disposal to ensure that the disposal work "zero accidents". On July 31, as the first emergency medical waste collection and transport vehicle loaded with medical waste generated by isolation points and nucleic acid detection points entered the company, the special team of excellent environmental protection medical disposal personnel carried out the work of vehicle elimination and material elimination in an orderly manner according to the collection and transportation procedures. As of August 29, the company completed the collaborative disposal of about 500 tons of medical waste, and achieved zero accidents, zero medical waste inventory, and zero infection of personnel.

Although coordinated disposal is an emergency move, there must be no paralysis. Yong Yonghui, chairman and general manager of Excellent Environmental Protection, stressed many times at the disposal site that disinfection procedures should be strictly implemented in accordance with the four requirements of heavy regulation, quick treatment, heavy protection and risk prevention, and personnel present should do a good job of personal protection to resolutely block the transmission of the epidemic.
