Article 37 of the new "Solid Waste Law" stipulates that the industrial solid waste generating unit must verify the principal qualification and ability of the trustee, and bear joint liability with the trustee if there is a violation.

The workshop aims to explore how waste production units manage environmental legal risks, how waste disposal units respond to Party A's audit, and how the industry can improve management.

On July 2, 2021, the second "Solid Waste Treatment Supplier Management Seminar" was successfully held in Shanghai Changying Environmental Protection Service Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Xuelang Environmental hazardous waste disposal field. In this seminar, more than 60 representatives from the solid waste field gathered in Changying Environmental Protection to analyze the laws and policies of solid waste management in depth. Consolidate and strengthen the contact and cooperation between waste production units, waste disposal units and solid waste testing, identification, consultation and equipment. The conference was hosted by the Technical Committee of the Solid Waste Treatment Supplier Management Standard (WVMS). Shanghai Municipal Solid Waste and Chemical Management Technology Center, Shanghai Municipal Emergency Management Bureau of Chemical Registration Office, Fengxian District Ecological Environment Bureau, Hefei Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, Hangzhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Co., Ltd. and other representatives attended the meeting.

Before the meeting, the experts, accompanied by Xu Lin, general manager of Changying Environmental Protection, visited the company's complete laboratory, solid waste treatment facility model and the orderly management and advanced technology of hazardous waste on-site treatment facilities.  

Mr. Shen Zuda, Chairman of Changying Environmental Protection, welcomed the participants and shared Changying Environmental Protection's more advanced SMP pumping equipment in the incineration industry, which can handle inflammable and explosive materials with low flash point more safely.

Shen Zuda said that Changying Environmental Protection, as one of the earliest enterprises in China to provide incineration and disposal business, has been committed to talent introduction and scientific and technological innovation, creating a green enterprise, and taking ecological environmental protection as its own responsibility.

WVMS representative Xiaoyang Ding gave a welcome speech, shared the management standards of solid waste management suppliers, and thanked the representatives and co-organizers of the conference.  

Dr. Chen Hong, Chief engineer of Changying Environmental Protection, introduced the hazardous waste incineration process, the process and safety technology of Changying Environmental Protection, and the industry advantages of Xuelang Environment.  

Teachers from Shanghai Curing Center , combined with rich experience in law enforcement inspection, will interpret the "Hazardous Waste and General Industrial Solid Waste Management Policy and Situation" for participants.  

Ms. Cheung Siu Siu, Partner and Executive Director of the Environment, Resources and Energy Committee of BDA, shared the "Administrative Punishment and Criminal Justice Case Analysis after the implementation of the New Solid Waste Law" with fresh cases and compelling litigation practice. 

WVMS technical expert and Ruiyi Environment teacher Chen Ping, based on her rich experience in auditing waste production units and waste disposal units and conducting inspections on behalf of regulatory authorities, brought to the participants an Overview of Solid waste Management laws and regulations standards and enterprise compliance case Analysis. 

Li Jun, EHS manager of Kohler Company, introduced the specific use experience and the valuable help of WVMS for waste production units.  

Dr. Kang Zhao, Environmental Manager of Solvay Asia Pacific, introduced the company's emphasis on waste supplier management, current audit practices, and discussed the possibility of further managing waste suppliers with WVMS.

Through the in-depth analysis of solid waste management laws and policies by the representatives, the seminar consolidated and strengthened the contact and cooperation between waste production units, waste disposal units and solid waste testing, identification, consulting, equipment and other related industries. As a member of the Xuelang environment, Changying Environmental Protection will also take creating a better environment and creating a quality life as its mission, and strive for sustainable development of the ecological environment.
