On April 9, 2021, the Shandong Binzhou Yunshuijili Environmental Protection solid waste Comprehensive Disposal Center, invested and constructed by CITIC Environmental Technology, was officially ignited and put into operation. This is another milestone hazardous waste project completed and put into operation after Rizhao in Shandong and Korla in Xinjiang, and it is also the first project signed by Xuelang Environment and CITIC Environment, which is of great significance to the future cooperation and development of the two sides.

Shandong Yunshui Jili Solid Waste Comprehensive Disposal Center, as one of the "Top ten" industrial projects of the major transformation project of old and new energy in Shandong Province, covers a land area of 185 mu and an annual treatment scale of 70,000 tons of hazardous waste. It can provide incineration, physicalization, landfill and other disposal services for 42 categories and 459 small categories of hazardous waste, playing an important role in promoting the sound development of economic, social and ecological civilization construction in the region.

As the EPC general contractor, in order to ensure the smooth ignition of the project, Xuelang Environmental Technology research and development Department members Wang Dengsheng, Song CAI, Li Zhijing and other colleagues have been arranged to rush to the site for single system debugging ten days before the official ignition.

There are many difficulties in the field work, and many equipment and systems have no single system debugging conditions. The on-site personnel worked day and night to actively solve the problems of material shortage, installation units and equipment suppliers were not in place, and successfully completed the on-site elimination work within the specified time, laying a solid foundation for the success of the ignition.

On the evening of April 7, after an afternoon of debugging, the first ignition of the Binzhou project was successful!

At 9 p.m. on April 8, the day before the official ignition, the wire mouth of the igniter pipe and the welding porosity successively leaked gas. After a careful investigation, the site personnel found the cause of air leakage, and through multi-party communication, to solve the problem of shortage of repair materials. After several hours of repair, finally after the third welding, the pressure test was successful!
